2010 AKC Kid's Corner Art Contest
As a responsible puppy owner or adult dog owner, you do many fun things with your dog.
AKC now
welcomes mixed-breed dogs to participate in the exciting world of AKC
companion events! Now there’s Lots More Dog Fun for you and your
dog to participate in, such as Agility, Obedience and AKC Rally events.
In honor of this occasion, the 2010 Kids’ Corner Art Contest asks you to draw a picture of
yourself doing something fun with your favorite dog whether your dog is one of the 164 recognized
AKC registerable breeds or a mixed breed.

Deadlines:
First, second, and third place winners will be chosen from each US grade group K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 in May and November. Entries postmarked after October 31st, 2010 are not eligible for entry. First Place entries will be posted on the AKC Website.
Who can Enter: Contest is open to students who on February 1, 2010, are at least 5 years of age and under 15 years in age and are
enrolled in grades K-8th (or their schools’ equivalent). All art work must be original. Go to www.akc.org for all the rules, details, and restictions that may apply. A parental permission slip is required.
